Knackered
I am home. I think I may still be hung over... from Thursday.
Flight out was a nightmare. Left home at 7am and didn't arrive in Cannes until 11pm. Bear in mind that I was supposed to get there about 3pm...
I spent a fair portion of the day in Zurich thanks to a missed connection to Nice. I've been able to find out through a colleague that the connecting flight was slightly delayed and was still on the runway as we landed. Both flights operated by the same airline (Swiss) and still they wouldn't hold it, thus condemning me and 27 others to a mere seven hour stopover in Switzerland. I know that by holding flights it can cause delays and problems elsewhere but, still, it was damned annoying.
