Nut cracker

I've always wondered why garden sheds have that pointy "spire" thing on them at the front and now I know. I've just seen a squirrel using it on to crack nuts on.

These photos are a bit rubbish but you can just about make out the squirrel in the first one (I was photographing from the living room window using the digital zoom on my camera phone), and you can see the nut shells in the second one.

Cute. And some people call them rats with bushy tails, you certainly wouldn't see a rat doing that.
