So, tell me which words do you not understand, and I will try to translate. Recess refers to the "go outside and play" periods during the school day. Grade school is the early parts of the American school system, usually including grades 1-6, or up to age 11 or 12.

I see. I sort of guessed that's what it meant. We call recess "playtime" (for younger kids), or "break" (a more mature version). Grade school equates to primary school. I feel like we are furthering the understanding between our two great nations. Perhaps this is the kind of conversation that takes place between Bush and Blair...
