Two dollar pound

The pound is tipped to be worth two US dollars by the end of this week, its highest value since 1992. How fortunate, then, that I'm off to New York on holiday in ten days' time. As Emma says: "Everything in New York is half price!" Which is sort of right, right?

Yes, except that everything in NY is about twice as expensive as everywhere else in America...so it's about a wash. Have fun on your trip!
